Realbotix names Eric Olsen as chief operating officer
Realbotix Corp. (TSX-V: XBOT) (Frankfurt: 76M0.F) (OTC: XBOTF) appointed Eric Olsen as chief operating officer of its U.S. operating subsidiary, Realbotix LLC, based in Nevada. Matt McMullen will transition to chief creative officer as part of the leadership reorganization.
Olsen previously served as director of customer success at Agility Robotics, where he led deployment of humanoid robots in industrial and commercial environments with enterprise customers. He also held leadership roles at Toyota Tsusho America supporting industrial automation and retired as a command master chief from the United States Navy.
At Realbotix, Olsen will oversee U.S. operations focusing on operational execution, manufacturing readiness, customer deployment, and commercial scale-up for the company's humanoid robotics and AI platforms.
"Eric brings a rare combination of operational discipline, robotics commercialization experience, and leadership in high-stakes environments," said Andrew Kiguel, chief executive officer of Realbotix. "His experience scaling real-world robotics and deployments will be instrumental as we grow Realbotix's U.S. operations and advance toward broader market adoption."
The company issued Olsen 300,000 stock options at C$0.33 per share. The options vest monthly over three years and expire five years from the grant date.
Realbotix designs and manufactures AI-powered humanoid robots for entertainment, customer service, and companionship applications. The company manufactures its products in the United States and holds patents for AI and robotics technologies enabling lifelike expressions, motion, vision, and social engagement.
