Quarterhill appoints Burland East to board effective January 1

Quarterhill Inc. (TSX: QTRH) (OTCQX: QTRHF) announced the appointment of Burland East to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2026.

East serves as CEO of Soledad Realty Capital, LLC, an advisor at Oxygen Investment Management, and a member of the Board of Advisors and CFO of Unmanned Aerospace. He brings over 30 years of Wall Street experience as a Managing Director and NASD broker-dealer member-owner.

According to the company, East has led teams of securities analysts and investment bankers and raised approximately $20 billion in capital from investors globally across 142 large-scale real estate transactions, including 28 IPOs. He holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland.
