Pulse Seismic names CFO Pamela Wicks as president and CEO
Pulse Seismic Inc. (TSX: PSD) (OTCQX: PLSDF) has appointed Pamela Wicks as president and chief executive officer, effective Aug. 6, 2026, according to a company statement. Wicks succeeds Neal Coleman, who has stepped down from the role.
Wicks, who holds CPA and ICD.D designations, has served as the company's vice president of finance and chief financial officer since 2010. She joined Pulse in 2002 through a corporate acquisition and has 28 years of experience in the seismic data library business.
In her new role, Wicks will oversee corporate strategy, business development, and stakeholder engagement. She will also continue to manage the company's finance function on an interim basis while Pulse searches for a new CFO.
Robert Robotti, chair of the board, said in the statement that Wicks "brings extensive experience in the seismic data library industry and deep knowledge of Pulse's business to the CEO role."
Pulse is a Calgary-based company that acquires, markets, and licenses 2D and 3D seismic data to the western Canadian energy sector. The company claims to own the largest licensable seismic data library in Canada, consisting of approximately 65,310 square kilometers of 3D seismic and 829,207 kilometers of 2D seismic.
