Proficient Auto Logistics appoints Rohit Lal to board of directors

Proficient Auto Logistics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PAL) announced the appointment of Rohit Lal to its board of directors. Lal currently serves as Executive Vice President of IT Strategy at Saia, Inc (NASDAQ: SAIA), where he leads IT teams developing enterprise-wide solutions.

"Rohit brings significant experience in enterprise technology strategy and digital transformation," said Rick O'Dell, Proficient's Chief Executive Officer. "His expertise will enhance our Board as we continue advancing our long-term strategy and investing in scalable growth."

Before joining Saia, Lal held the position of Director of Enterprise Architecture at CONA Services, an IT shared services company co-owned by The Coca-Cola Company and North American Coca-Cola bottlers. He joined The Coca-Cola Company in 2008, serving in various roles that included implementing SAP-centric sales, manufacturing, warehousing and route planning solutions.

Prior to his tenure at Coca-Cola, Lal served as CEO and Founder of AceTrack, Inc., leading business development initiatives and ERP value realization engagements across multiple industries. He also held sales and consulting positions at QAD. Lal earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Proficient Auto Logistics operates auto transportation and logistics services through seven operating companies acquired since its initial public offering in May 2024. The Jacksonville, Florida-based company transports finished vehicles from production facilities, marine ports, and rail yards to dealerships across North America.
