Persistent Systems names new chief operating officer
Persistent Systems (BSE: 533179) (NSE: PERSISTENT) announced leadership changes effective August 12, 2025. Dhanashree Bhat will step down from her role as Chief Operating Officer on August 11, 2025, to pursue external opportunities.
The company appointed Jaideep Dhok as Chief Operating Officer – Technology, effective August 12, 2025. Dhok previously served as Senior Vice President for the company's Banking, Financial Services and Insurance division and has worked at Persistent for over 14 years of his 23-year career.
In his new position, Dhok will oversee Delivery Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Alliances and Partnerships. He currently leads the APAC region and contributes to the company's artificial intelligence strategy.

The reorganization also expands the responsibilities of Vinit Teredesai, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director. Teredesai will add oversight of IT and ESG functions to his existing duties, which include Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Enterprise Risk Management, and Investor Relations.
