Penguin Solutions releases ICE ClusterWare 13.0 management software

November 17, 2025 11:01 AM UTC

Penguin Solutions (NASDAQ: PENG) announced the release of ICE ClusterWare software 13.0, introducing anomaly detection capabilities and network-isolated multi-tenancy for AI and high-performance computing infrastructure management.

The software addresses two operational challenges in production-scale AI deployments: maintaining peak cluster performance and enabling secure resource sharing across different user groups. The anomaly detection feature monitors for performance degradation and automatically isolates underperforming nodes while initiating real-time remediation.

The network-isolated multi-tenancy capability allows organizations to partition GPU clusters into dedicated subclusters for different departments or projects. Each subcluster operates with isolated environments where tenants can select their own workload managers and maintain data segregation.

"With the launch of our ICE ClusterWare software 13.0, we're delivering pivotal advancements to help organizations manage the growing complexity of modern AI and HPC environments," said Sharri Parsell, vice president of software engineering for Penguin Solutions.

Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Assistant Dean for Information Technology Shailesh Shenoy noted the importance of optimized infrastructure for biomedical research, stating that having Penguin Solutions as a partner enables the institution to build and manage infrastructure while keeping it running at capacity.

The software targets cloud service providers offering GPU-as-a-Service, enterprises delivering AI computing to internal groups, and government agencies requiring security and resource isolation. General availability is scheduled for December 2, 2025.

The information is based on a company press release.
