Paysign elects Dan Henry as board chairman

Paysign Inc. (NASDAQ: PAYS) announced that its board of directors elected Dan Henry as Chairman of the Board. Henry succeeds Mark Newcomer, who will continue as President and Chief Executive Officer.



Henry has served on Paysign's board since 2018 and currently chairs the Executive Compensation Committee. He brings over 30 years of fintech leadership experience, including roles as Co-founder, President and COO of Euronet Worldwide (NASDAQ: EEFT) and CEO of NetSpend Corporation. At NetSpend, Henry led the company's initial public offering in 2010 and its $1.4 billion acquisition by TSYS in 2013. He most recently served as CEO of Green Dot Corporation (NYSE: GDOT).



"Dan brings decades of experience in fintech, payments and leadership strategy along with a deep understanding of Paysign's business and long-term goals," said Newcomer.



Henry stated he is "honored to assume the role of chairman at such a pivotal time for Paysign." He noted that the company's position "at the intersection of healthcare and fintech gives us a unique opportunity to drive meaningful innovation and shareholder value."



Paysign provides patient affordability programs, donor compensation solutions and payment processing services for life sciences industries. The Henderson, Nevada-based company operates platforms for plasma, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
