Paysafe adds four directors to board effective February 26

Paysafe Limited (NYSE: PSFE) appointed four new non-executive directors to its board, effective February 26, 2026, according to a company statement.
The new directors are Rupert Keeley, Pete Thompson, Karin Timpone, and Edward Wertheim. Keeley previously served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for PayPal's EMEA business and CEO of PayPal Europe's bank. He also held senior positions at Visa Inc., including Group President for multiple regions and Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development.
Thompson currently works as a Senior Advisor at 25Madison Evolve and Chief Product Officer of CMO Consulting Group. He previously served as Chief Product Officer at eBay, Vice President for Alexa Voice Service at Amazon, and held executive roles at TiVo and Microsoft.
Timpone is CEO and Founder of ClearPrompt and has held senior marketing positions at Major League Baseball, Marriott International, The Walt Disney Company, and Yahoo. She currently serves on boards including Atlas Obscura and MMA Global.
Wertheim is a Senior Managing Director at CVC, having joined in 2025. He previously spent 15 years at Corsair as a Partner and has served on boards including IDnow, ZEDRA Group, and Axo Finans.
Two existing board members, Peter Rutland and Matthew Bryant, stepped down on February 26, 2026. Rutland will continue attending board meetings as a non-voting observer.
"Their combined expertise across global payments, digital transformation, marketing, and technology will be invaluable as Paysafe continues to execute its strategy and pursue new growth opportunities," said Bruce Lowthers, CEO of Paysafe.
The board now comprises 12 directors. Paysafe reported annualized transactional volume of $152 billion in 2024.
