Palladyne AI Corp. (NASDAQ: PDYN) and Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ: DPRO) announced plans to collaborate on integrating Palladyne's artificial intelligence software with Draganfly's unmanned aerial vehicle platforms.

The partnership will make Palladyne Pilot AI software available on Draganfly's drone systems. Palladyne Pilot is designed to enable multiple UAVs to operate as a coordinated team under single operator control, using sensor fusion and autonomous tracking capabilities.

Draganfly's UAV systems serve government, defense, and commercial customers globally. The integration aims to add autonomous swarm operations, real-time intelligence and surveillance capabilities to Draganfly's platforms.

"Draganfly has earned its reputation as one of the most trusted names in UAV innovation," said Ben Wolff, President and CEO of Palladyne AI. "We are honored to collaborate with them to deliver advanced aerial intelligence solutions that meet the operational needs of government, defense, and commercial users in challenging environments."

Cameron Chell, CEO of Draganfly, stated that Palladyne AI enables drone platforms to incorporate autonomy features previously limited to larger, more expensive systems. He said the embedded Palladyne Pilot software will expand Draganfly's modular framework and increase adaptable mission-critical autonomy.

Integration of Palladyne Pilot with Draganfly systems outside the United States requires government approvals, according to the companies' statement.

Palladyne AI develops artificial intelligence software for robotic platforms in defense and commercial sectors. Draganfly manufactures drone solutions and has operated in the UAV industry for over two decades.
