Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR) and FTAI Aviation Ltd. (NASDAQ: FTAI) announced a multi-year strategic partnership that will integrate Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform across FTAI's global aircraft engine maintenance operations.

Under the agreement, FTAI will use Palantir's AIP to improve maintenance scheduling and inventory optimization across its worldwide operations. The partnership aims to transform FTAI's internal supply chain through automated workflows, rapid asset allocation and dynamic procurement strategies for component parts.

FTAI operates maintenance, repair and exchange services for CFM56 and V2500 aircraft engines that power commercial aircraft. The company targets faster production turnaround times and improved unit economics through AI-assisted decision making.

"As our customer base continues to multiply, accelerating the integration of advanced technology into our operations is essential," said David Moreno, Chief Operating Officer of FTAI Aviation. "The initial results in our facilities have been impressive and AIP will play a critical role in achieving our long-term goal of 25% industry market share."

Ted Mabrey, Global Head of Commercial at Palantir Technologies, stated that FTAI represents an ideal partner for integrating advanced AI capabilities with maintenance, repair and exchange operations.

FTAI aims to disrupt the traditional maintenance, repair, and overhaul shop visit model and accelerate production ramp-up to meet growing demand. The company also acquires and manages on-lease aircraft and engines in partnership with institutional investors.

The partnership reflects the expanding role of artificial intelligence in aircraft maintenance operations, according to the companies' joint press release statement.
