PNC Bank (NYSE: PNC) announced the integration of its PINACLE Connect embedded banking platform with Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning. The integration allows PNC corporate and commercial banking clients to access treasury services directly within Oracle's cloud-based ERP system.
The connection uses Oracle B2B offering to provide connectivity that enables clients to retrieve balance and transaction information, initiate and approve payments, and reconcile accounts without navigating between multiple platforms. The integration aims to automate manual processes and reduce time spent on financial tasks.
"We are committed to delivering innovative, secure and efficient solutions within PNC's Treasury Management platform that integrate seamlessly into our clients' workflows," said Howard Forman, executive vice president and head of PNC's Commercial Digital Channels.
Catherine You, group vice president at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), stated that manual navigation between banking platforms and financial management systems can add friction and complexity to financial processes. The embedded banking services are designed to increase transaction speed and accuracy.
Oracle Cloud ERP provides enterprise finance and operations capabilities including financials, accounting, procurement, project management, enterprise performance management, risk management, subscription management, and supply chain and manufacturing functions. The company reports that more than 10,000 organizations use Oracle Cloud ERP.
PNC Treasury Management offers cash management technologies and services for business clients. The bank describes itself as one of the largest diversified financial services institutions in the United States, providing retail and business banking, corporate banking, real estate finance, wealth management and asset management services.
