OpenText (NASDAQ: OTEX) and Fiserv announced the launch of Content Next, an AI-powered content management and workflow solution designed for financial institutions.
The solution is built on OpenText's multi-tenant SaaS platform, Core Content Management, and aims to help banks and credit unions streamline operations and reduce manual processes. Content Next integrates with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and includes AI-based search and summarization capabilities.
"Content Next is not just a repository — it's a catalyst for intelligent work," said Sandy Ono, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at OpenText. "With embedded AI tools, self-service administration, and customizable role and process-based workspaces, financial institutions can experience faster access to insights and deliver better customer service."
The solution is part of Fiserv's enterprise content management suite and includes governance features and scalability options. Whitney Russell, president of Digital and Financial Solutions at Fiserv, said the companies plan to work together to apply AI-powered enterprise content management for their clients.
Research from OpenText and the Ponemon Institute indicated that fewer than half of IT and security leaders report alignment between their IT goals and AI strategy. The companies stated that financial institutions are seeking solutions that protect sensitive information while enabling innovation as AI and quantum computing increase data complexity.
OpenText and Fiserv will demonstrate the new capabilities at the Fiserv Forum Client Conference 2025, scheduled for September 29-30, 2025. The solution will become available following the conference.
The information is based on a press release from the companies.
