Oncolytics Biotech shareholders elect eight directors at annual meeting

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. (NASDAQ: ONCY) (TSX: ONC) announced voting results from its Annual General Meeting held August 8, 2025, according to a company statement.

The clinical-stage immunotherapy company reported that 37.42% of issued and outstanding common shares were represented at the meeting either in person or by proxy.

All eight director nominees proposed by the corporation were elected to serve until the next annual meeting. The voting results showed varying levels of support among the nominees:

Jared Kelly received the highest support with 91.64% of votes, while Jonathan Rigby received the lowest at 80.45%. Other directors elected include Patricia Andrews (88.83%), Bernd R. Seizinger (86.89%), Angela Holtham (86.10%), James T. Parsons (86.07%), Wayne Pisano (85.87%), and Deborah M. Brown (85.58%).

Shareholders also approved fixing the number of directors at eight for the coming year and appointed auditors for the corporation.

The company develops pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent currently in clinical trials for pancreatic and breast cancers. Both applications have received Fast Track designation from the FDA.

Final voting results on all matters will be filed on SEDAR, with additional details available in the corporation's management information circular dated June 18, 2025.
