OMS Energy Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: OMSE) announced it has supplied and installed the wellhead section of Pakistan's first intelligent wellhead system for MOL Pakistan, a subsidiary of MOL Group (OTC: MGYOY). The installation marks the company's entry into Pakistan's oil and gas sector.

OMS manufactured the system's tubing hanger and tubing head adapter at its Singapore facility, where MOL Pakistan representatives witnessed testing. The company collaborated with local teams during installation to ensure knowledge transfer.

The intelligent wellhead system incorporates real-time monitoring, automation, and remote-control technologies designed to optimize well performance and operational efficiency. OMS worked alongside other oilfield services companies to develop and deploy the system.

"The successful deployment of this intelligent wellhead system in Pakistan represents an important step forward in OMS's global growth strategy," said How Meng Hock, chairman and chief executive officer of OMS.

OMS has joined a study with Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (LSE: OGDC), Pakistan's largest oil and gas company, and Lahore University of Management Sciences to support a localization initiative aimed at indigenizing oilfield technologies and developing local expertise.

The company has also established a service agreement with Drillnetics Energy, a local provider specializing in machining, threading, repairing and remanufacturing services. This partnership represents OMS's initial step in creating a localized supply chain in Pakistan.

OMS operates 11 manufacturing facilities across the Asia Pacific, Middle Eastern and North African regions, providing surface wellhead systems and oil country tubular goods to onshore and offshore exploration and production operators.
