Nebius Group N.V. (NASDAQ: NBIS) announced a multi-year agreement to provide AI infrastructure services to Microsoft Corp. The deal involves delivering dedicated capacity from Nebius's new data center in Vineland, New Jersey, with services beginning later this year.
Under the agreement, Nebius will provide Microsoft with dedicated AI infrastructure capacity. The company operates as an AI infrastructure provider serving customers ranging from AI startups to enterprises.
"Nebius's core AI cloud business, serving customers from AI startups to enterprises, is performing exceptionally well," said Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius. "I'm happy to announce the first of these contracts, and I believe there are more to come."
Nebius plans to finance the capital expenditure for the contract through cash flow from the deal and debt issuance secured against the contract. The company stated the debt terms would be enhanced by the credit quality of Microsoft as the counterparty.
The company indicated it is evaluating additional financing options to accelerate growth beyond original plans and will provide updates on its financing strategy. Volozh noted the deal would help accelerate the growth of Nebius's AI cloud business in 2026 and beyond.
Additional details about the contract are available in the company's 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to the press release.
