Google Cloud announced the general availability of G4 virtual machines powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. The new VMs are designed to handle AI inference, visual computing, and simulation workloads across enterprise applications.

NVIDIA Omniverse and NVIDIA Isaac Sim are now available as virtual machine images on the Google Cloud Marketplace. These tools enable physical AI-driven applications for manufacturing, automotive, and logistics industries.

The G4 VMs can be configured with up to eight RTX PRO 6000 GPUs, providing 768 GB of GDDR7 memory total. The VMs integrate with Google Kubernetes Engine and Vertex AI for containerized deployments and machine learning operations.

WPP is using G4 VMs with NVIDIA Omniverse to generate 3D advertising environments, while Altair utilizes the platform for simulation and fluid dynamics workloads through Altair One.

The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU features fifth-generation Tensor Cores supporting new data formats like FP4, and fourth-generation RT Cores that provide over 2x the real-time ray-tracing performance compared to the previous generation.

Google Cloud customers can use NVIDIA Omniverse to build digital twins and accelerate robotics development through NVIDIA Isaac Sim. The platform supports various third-party applications including Autodesk AutoCAD, Blender, and Dassault SolidWorks.

The announcement extends NVIDIA's Blackwell platform availability on Google Cloud, which includes NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 for A4X VMs and NVIDIA HGX B200 for A4 VMs, creating an integrated architecture for different computing workloads.
