Mobix Labs enters talks with Peraso for potential acquisition deal

Mobix Labs Inc. (NASDAQ: MOBX) and Peraso Inc. (NASDAQ: PRSO) have entered into a mutual confidentiality agreement to explore a potential acquisition, the companies announced.

The agreement establishes a framework for confidential information exchange as the semiconductor companies discuss a possible strategic combination. Mobix Labs serves defense, aerospace, and high-reliability markets, while Peraso operates in wireless technology.

"We see tremendous potential in combining Peraso's wireless expertise with our own high-reliability connectivity solutions to create a stronger, more diversified technology platform with global reach," said Phil Sansone, chief executive officer of Mobix Labs.

The cooperative discussions replace Mobix Labs' previous unsolicited acquisition offer made to Peraso in June 2025. The companies stated they have chosen to pursue a "constructive and mutually beneficial framework" for exploring potential synergies.

Mobix Labs indicated it does not plan to provide further updates unless additional disclosure becomes appropriate or required. The company noted that no tender offer has commenced at this time.
