Mobileye to supply cloud-based ADAS tech to select Stellantis vehicles

Mobileye (Nasdaq: MBLY) announced it will supply its Cloud-Enhanced Advanced Driver Assist technology to select Stellantis vehicles expected to launch in 2027, according to a press release from the company.

The integration will incorporate Mobileye's REM Road Experience Management technology, a crowdsourced data system the company says covers more than 95% of public roads in the United States and Europe. Mobileye states the REM network generated data from over 8 million vehicles across 34 billion miles in the prior year, with five of the world's ten largest automakers contributing data to the platform.

The technology uses front-facing cameras in EyeQ-equipped vehicles to collect anonymized data on road features, which is transmitted to the cloud and redistributed to vehicles as updated driving intelligence. Planned applications include intelligent lane keeping on unmarked roads and hands-free, eyes-on driving in designated areas. The first applications are expected in select U.S. models in 2027, with additional integration dependent on vehicle platform and configuration.

Mobileye has been listed independently on Nasdaq since 2022. Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) retains majority ownership of the company.
