Midwest Boutique Comments Circulate.

Retail sector mostly under pressure today.
BJ's leads the group, down nearly 5pct.
While the action is easily blamed on tariffs, today a boutique shop issued comments which traders circulated well after the market open.
Midwest boutique notes BJ sales QTD "appear softer" compared to Q1 and analyst forecasts.
The firm says it is "hearing" that some markdowns are occurring which tends to happen when sales slow as companies seek to improve inventory turnover.
