NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced a multiyear strategic partnership with Meta to build hyperscale data centers for AI training and inference applications.

The partnership includes deployment of NVIDIA CPUs and millions of NVIDIA Blackwell and Rubin GPUs across Meta's infrastructure. Meta will integrate NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet switches into its Facebook Open Switching System platform to support AI workloads at scale.

Meta continues expanding its use of Arm-based NVIDIA Grace CPUs for data center production applications, representing what the companies describe as the first large-scale NVIDIA Grace-only deployment. The collaboration includes potential deployment of NVIDIA Vera CPUs with possible large-scale implementation in 2027.

"We're excited to expand our partnership with NVIDIA to build leading-edge clusters using their Vera Rubin platform to deliver personal superintelligence to everyone in the world," said Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's founder and CEO.

Meta has adopted NVIDIA Confidential Computing for WhatsApp private processing, enabling AI capabilities while maintaining user data confidentiality. The companies plan to expand these confidential computing capabilities to other Meta platforms.

The partnership creates a unified architecture spanning on-premises data centers and NVIDIA Cloud Partner deployments. Meta will deploy NVIDIA GB300-based systems and utilize the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform across its infrastructure.

Engineering teams from both companies are collaborating on optimizing AI models across Meta's production workloads, combining NVIDIA's platform with Meta's large-scale operations.

The information is based on a press release from NVIDIA dated February 17, 2026.
