Maxus Mining completes geophysical survey at Penny copper project

Maxus Mining Inc. (CSE: MAXM) announced the completion of a geophysical interpretation of its airborne Mobile Magnetotelluric survey at the Penny Project in British Columbia. The interpretation, conducted by Convolutions Geoscience Corporation, identified multiple conductive trends and structural target areas for copper exploration.

The 2025 MobileMT survey covered approximately 519 line-kilometres over a 46 square kilometre area. The interpretation identified features spatially associated with the Palmer Bar Fault corridor and related cross-cutting structures. Conductive horizons are interpreted to be potentially associated with sulphide- or graphite-bearing stratigraphy within the Creston Formation.

The 3,123-hectare Penny Project is located 17 kilometres southeast of the historic Sullivan Mine at Kimberley, British Columbia, within the Belt-Purcell Basin. Historical sampling programs at the project returned copper values including 1,046 ppm Cu, 1,808 ppm Cu, and 2,388 ppm Cu. Since acquiring the project, Maxus has completed surface rock sampling returning values up to 0.34% Cu.

Maxus plans to integrate the interpretation with geological mapping, geochemistry, and historical datasets to prioritize follow-up exploration targets. The company stated it will develop high-priority targets for future exploration programs through continued integration of the survey results with existing data.

The scientific and technical information was reviewed by Morgan Verge, P.Geo., VP Exploration of Maxus and a qualified person under NI 43-101 standards. Kyle Patterson, P. Geo., President of Convolutions, reviewed the geophysical interpretation disclosure.
