Mativ appoints Deborah Borg to board of directors

Mativ Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MATV) appointed Deborah Borg to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a company statement. Borg will serve on the company's Compensation Committee and Nominating & Governance Committee.



Borg currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief People & Culture Officer at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF). She has over 25 years of experience in corporate leadership, including roles in compensation and benefits, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational change management at companies including General Motors, Dow Chemical, and Bunge.



She currently sits on the board of the Institute for Corporate Productivity and previously served as a director for Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc. (NYSE: SWM).



"With her expertise in strategy, talent and culture, she brings a critical perspective to the Board as the Company continues its transformation," said Shruti Singhal, Mativ's President and CEO, in the statement.



Dr. Kimberly E. Ritrievi, Chair of Mativ's Board of Directors, noted that Borg "has navigated several companies through complex and challenging transformations."



Mativ Holdings is a specialty materials manufacturer headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, that operates through two segments: Filtration & Advanced Materials and Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions. The company manufactures on three continents and generates sales in over 80 countries.
