Mangoceuticals clarifies GLP-1 weight-management program launch
Mangoceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: MGRX) issued a clarification regarding its weight-management programs following an earlier press release. The company launched MangoRx Direct and PeachesRx Direct programs that provide access to branded GLP-1 medications through a third-party provider.
The programs are licensed to issue prescriptions for FDA-approved branded GLP-1 medications, including Zepbound from Eli Lilly and Wegovy from Novo Nordisk when medically appropriate. Patients can fill prescriptions at any licensed pharmacy through established channels including LillyDirect Self-Pay Pharmacy Solutions and NovoCare Pharmacy.
Mangoceuticals stated it has no direct contractual relationship with Eli Lilly or Novo Nordisk. The company works through an independent third-party pharmacy benefits and access solutions provider that facilitates cash-pay access to the branded medications for appropriately prescribed patients, subject to manufacturer supply availability.
The MangoRx Direct and PeachesRx Direct programs are now operational, offering telehealth consultations, personalized care plans, and ongoing support for $99 per month. Medication costs and fulfillment are separate from this monthly fee.
MangoRx operates a telemedicine platform focused on men's health and wellness products, including services for erectile dysfunction, hair growth, hormone replacement therapies, and weight management. The platform provides prescription review by physicians and discreet shipping through partner compounding pharmacies.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
