Madison Pacific Properties appoints two new directors

Madison Pacific Properties Inc. (TSX: MPC and MPC.C) announced changes to its board of directors effective September 30, 2025. The Vancouver-based real estate company said Mark Elliott and Jonathan Rees will step down from the board after serving 12 years and 6 years respectively.



Elliott served as chairman of the audit committee for 9 years during his tenure. The company will appoint Alistair Duncan Jr. and Robert Wiens as new directors on the same date.



Duncan currently serves as president and chief executive officer of viDA Therapeutics Inc., a Vancouver biotechnology company. He previously held the same roles at Chromos Molecular Systems Inc., which he co-founded, and worked as a principal with Ernst & Young LLP.



Wiens brings over 30 years of management experience, including roles as chief financial officer of D-Wave Systems and president and CEO of FACS Records Centre Inc. He previously served as managing partner of the Vancouver office for Arthur Andersen & Co. Wiens holds designations as a fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and is a member of the New York State Institute of Certified Public Accountants.



Both new appointees previously served as directors of Metro Vancouver Properties Corp., a Madison Pacific subsidiary that went private in 2024. The information was disclosed in a company press release.
