James Hardie names Ryan Lada as new CFO
James Hardie Industries plc (NYSE/ASX: JHX) appointed Ryan Lada as chief financial officer, effective immediately, the company announced. Lada succeeds Rachel Wilson, who stepped down after two years in the role.
Wilson will remain with the exterior home solutions provider in an advisory capacity until March 31, 2026, to support the transition. The company stated her departure was not due to any disagreement regarding accounting principles, financial disclosures, or internal controls.
Lada most recently served as CFO at Watts Water Technologies and previously held the same position at The AZEK Company. He joined AZEK as vice president of corporate finance in July 2022, overseeing financial planning, accounting, and investor relations functions.
"Ryan brings deep industry knowledge, financial expertise and a proven track record of delivering impressive results," said Aaron Erter, James Hardie's CEO, in a statement.
Lada brings nearly two decades of global finance experience to the role, with expertise in public market finance and supply chain operations. At AZEK, he managed financial planning and analysis, accounting, commercial and operational finance capabilities, and investor relations.
The Dublin-based company manufactures fiber cement, fiber gypsum, and composite building materials. Its brands include Hardie, TimberTech, AZEK Exteriors, and Versatex, with operations across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
James Hardie also announced it will report second quarter fiscal 2026 results separately and host a conference call on November 18, 2025, at 8:00 AM EST to discuss the financial results.
