James Hardie expands product distribution with Boise Cascade

James Hardie Building Products Inc., a subsidiary of James Hardie Industries plc (NYSE/ASX: JHX), announced an expanded distribution partnership with Boise Cascade Company (NYSE: BCC).
Under the multi-year agreement, Boise Cascade will distribute AZEK Exteriors and TimberTech Decking and Railing products in the Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. markets, alongside existing Hardie products. The expanded offering adds to Boise Cascade's distribution network of 39 locations across North America.
"The addition of TimberTech gives us access to a leading composite decking brand in the Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. markets for the first time," said Nate Jorgensen, CEO of Boise Cascade.
Aaron Erter, CEO of James Hardie Industries, stated the partnership allows the company to "expand access to our extensive line-up of industry-leading products" and will "help fuel our mutual growth ambitions by broadening our portfolio of siding products featuring ColorPlus Technology."
James Hardie's product portfolio includes fiber cement siding, decking, trim, railing, and pergola products under brands including Hardie, TimberTech, AZEK Exteriors, Versatex, and StruXure.
James Hardie describes itself as the North American leader in fiber cement exterior design solutions and employs over 3,700 people in North America. Boise Cascade operates as a producer of engineered wood products and plywood, and wholesale distributor of building materials.
