JZR Gold ships first concentrate from Brazil gold project

JZR Gold Inc. (TSXV: JZR, OTCPK: JZRIF) reported that approximately 11 tonnes of concentrate has been shipped from its Vila Nova Gold Project in Amapá State, Brazil, with expected arrival in São Paulo on Sept. 17, 2026.

According to a company statement, JZR assumed operatorship of the project on May 28, 2026, and has since secured a mining contractor, mobilized equipment, and recruited plant operators. Mining contractor RR Bueno is now fully mobilized on site.

In August, the company established a regular operating schedule of one eight-hour shift per day, Monday through Friday. During that initial period, the team encountered equipment failures and operational issues, which the company said have since been addressed through repairs and component replacements.

Chief Executive Officer Robert Klenk said: "With the mining contractor now fully mobilized, material moving to the plant, an operating team in place and approximately 11 tonnes of concentrate now on its way to São Paulo, our focus is shifting toward increasing operating hours and improving efficiency."

The company stated its immediate priorities include increasing plant operating hours, improving plant reliability and efficiency, and maintaining a consistent supply of material for processing. JZR said it is evaluating opportunities to expand operating hours and increase the volume of material processed.
