Instacart partners with Home Depot Canada for same-day delivery

Instacart (NASDAQ: CART) announced a partnership with The Home Depot Canada (NYSE: HD) to offer same-day delivery from over 175 stores across Canada, according to a company press release.

The service launches with in-store pricing and delivery in as fast as one hour. Home Depot Canada becomes the first nationwide home improvement retailer available on Instacart in Canada, joining over 100 retail banners on the platform.

The partnership includes Instacart's Big & Bulky fulfillment solution, enabling same-day and scheduled deliveries for items up to 60 pounds, such as tool sets, home furnishing supplies and storage items.

"We're focused on delivering convenience and accessibility, whether it's helping customers get their homes ready for the holiday season with décor or gathering materials for a last-minute home project over the weekend," said Blake Wallace, Vice President of Retail Partnerships at Instacart.

Doug Graham, Vice President of E-commerce and Marketing at The Home Depot Canada, said the partnership complements existing delivery options on homedepot.ca and provides customers additional flexibility across shopping channels.

Instacart offers a limited-time promotion of $20 off Home Depot Canada purchases of $80 or more through December 8, 2025. The offer applies to purchases made via the Instacart app only, excluding fees, taxes and gratuities.

Customers can access the service through instacart.ca or the Instacart mobile app. The Home Depot operates 2,356 retail stores across North America and employs over 470,000 associates.
