Infosys partners with Cursor to establish AI development center

Infosys (NYSE: INFY) announced a strategic collaboration with Cursor to establish a Center of Excellence focused on AI-assisted software development for enterprise clients. The partnership will integrate Cursor's development platform with Infosys Topaz Fabric to accelerate enterprise system development and modernization.
The Center of Excellence will feature an AI Engineering Experience Zone where clients can experience Infosys Topaz Fabric capabilities. The collaboration aims to scale Cursor's AI software development tools across Infosys' global developer workforce of over 100,000 engineers.
Cursor's platform combines coding models with an enterprise-grade development environment to enable multi-agent development, automated test generation, and accelerated refactoring. The company reports that 64 percent of Fortune 1000 companies use its platform, with enterprises experiencing a 39 percent increase in shipped pull requests on average.

"Their global scale, delivery rigor, and deep industry expertise create an ideal environment to demonstrate what AI software engineering tools can achieve in the enterprise."
Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer of Infosys, stated that the collaboration aims to "redefine how global enterprises build and scale AI-powered digital solutions." The partnership will equip developers and clients with tools designed to facilitate modernization efforts and system updates.
The collaboration builds on Infosys' existing AI capabilities and extends the company's digital services portfolio. Infosys provides services to clients in 63 countries and employs over 330,000 people globally.
