IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) and Veeva Systems (NYSE: VEEV) announced an expansion of their existing partnership, with IQVIA selecting Veeva's CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup, and Site Connect applications as enterprise standard tools across its clinical development studies, according to a press release.
The move builds on a previously announced electronic data capture (EDC) partnership between the two companies. All Veeva clinical solutions will also be available through IQVIA for sponsors seeking a full Veeva technology stack.
Richard Staub, president of Research and Development Solutions at IQVIA, said the integration gives clinical teams "a more connected way to work, built on frictionless integration of our respective technologies." He added that customers retain flexibility to choose EDC, RTSM, and eCOA technologies, including those from IQVIA.
Veeva founder and CEO Peter Gassner described the announcement as "an exciting expansion of the partnership IQVIA and Veeva announced last year," adding that both companies are "committed to supporting seamless product and services integration for the benefit of our customers."
