IQSTEL and Cycurion complete first phase of AI cybersecurity integration
IQSTEL Inc. (NASDAQ: IQST) and Cycurion Inc. (NASDAQ: CYCU) announced completion of the first phase of their joint cybersecurity program, integrating AI-enhanced security features into IQSTEL's AI agents.
The companies have implemented a secure Model Context Protocol integration for IQSTEL's Airweb.ai web agent and IQ2Call.ai voice agent, now protected by Cycurion's ARx cybersecurity platform.
"Our customers can now deploy AI agents with confidence," said Leandro Iglesias, President of IQSTEL. The integration moves from reactive defense to "proactive threat hunting at the edge" of AI experiences.
L. Kevin Kelly, Chairman and CEO of Cycurion, stated that "ARx was designed for mission-critical environments" and the integration means threats are "intercepted, analyzed, and acted upon before they can touch core assets."
The completed phase delivers several security features including MCP interface for both AI agents, ARx reverse-proxy shielding, and a four-layer defense system encompassing geo-gating, web application firewall and API security, bot detection, and AI-powered behavioral analysis.
The system includes dynamic threat intelligence with a real-time blocklist of over 13 million malicious IP addresses and operational visibility through dashboards and security information and event management integration.
The Model Context Protocol standardizes how AI agents discover, request, and use tools and data from external systems while enforcing auditable permissions and least-privilege policies.
IQSTEL operates in 21 countries with 100 employees and forecasts $340 million in revenue for fiscal year 2025. Cycurion, based in McLean, Virginia, provides cybersecurity solutions and AI services to government, healthcare, and corporate clients.
