Hypercharge Networks adds former TELUS executive to board

Hypercharge Networks Corp. (TSXV: HC; OTC: HCNWF; FSE: PB7) appointed Tony Geheran to its board of directors, effective October 10, 2025, according to a company statement.



Geheran brings more than 30 years of telecommunications experience and currently serves as President of Strategic Broadband Consulting. He previously held the position of Chief Operations Officer at TELUS, where he led digital transformation initiatives and managed network infrastructure operations.



During his tenure at TELUS spanning more than two decades, Geheran oversaw the expansion of one of Canada's telecommunications networks and directed the company's fiber build program. He also served on the TELUS Digital board of directors, chairing the Governance and Nominating Committee.



Geheran holds qualifications from Cranfield School of Management and the Open University, along with professional certifications in mechanical and electrical engineering from his Royal Navy service. He has participated in leadership programs at Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University of Toronto.



"He brings a rare combination of digital transformation and large-scale network operations expertise," said David Bibby, President and CEO of Hypercharge, in the company statement.



In connection with the appointment, Hypercharge approved a grant of 500,000 stock options under the company's equity incentive plan. The options will be exercisable at the closing price of the company's shares on October 10, 2025, for a five-year term, vesting at 25% every six months.



Hypercharge operates as an electric vehicle charging solutions provider for residential and commercial applications.
