HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. (CSE: HG) (OTCQB: HGRAF) announced the appointment of James Baker to its Technical Advisory Board. Baker brings over 30 years of experience in advanced materials, aerospace, defense, and graphene commercialization.

Baker led business activities related to graphene and 2D materials at the University of Manchester for 12 years, serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre. He previously spent 25 years in senior technology development roles at BAE Systems and Pilkington Optronics in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Baker will step down from his University of Manchester role at the end of January 2026. He contributed to the conception, design, and business model development of the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre during his tenure.

"I am delighted to be supporting HydroGraph as an advisor and member of their Technical Advisory Board," Baker stated. "HydroGraph has made significant progress over the last 18 months across scale-up, application development, and engagement in multiple sectors, particularly through its association with the GEIC in the UK."

HydroGraph CEO Kjirstin Breure said Baker "is widely recognised as one of the leading figures in graphene commercialisation" and noted his experience "will be invaluable as HydroGraph moves into the next stage of growth."

The company produces graphene using an explosion synthesis process and states its products meet the Graphene Council's Verified Graphene Producer standards. Baker will continue advising other companies involved in graphene and 2D materials while transitioning from his University role.
