Hubbell adds Dominion Energy executive to board

Hubbell Incorporated (NYSE: HUBB) announced the election of Edward H. Baine to its board of directors, effective August 29, 2025. The appointment brings the total number of directors to eleven, with ten serving as independent members.
Baine, 51, currently serves as executive vice president-Utility Operations and president-Dominion Energy Virginia at Dominion Energy (NYSE: D). He has led Utility Operations for Dominion Energy Virginia and Dominion Energy South Carolina since January 1, 2025, overseeing operations that serve more than four million customer accounts. He has served as president of Dominion Energy Virginia since 2020.
Dominion Energy provides regulated electricity service to 3.6 million homes and businesses across Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, along with regulated natural gas service to 500,000 customers in South Carolina.
"Ed brings extensive expertise in the utility industry and has deep technical understanding and broad operational leadership experience from his long tenure with Dominion Energy," said Gerben Bakker, Hubbell's chairman, president and CEO.
Baine began his career with Dominion Energy as an intern and joined full-time in 1995 as an associate engineer after earning a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. During his thirty-plus year career with the company, he has held various engineering, operational, and senior management positions. He completed the advanced management program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and is a registered professional engineer in Virginia.
Hubbell Incorporated manufactures utility and electrical solutions for critical infrastructure operations. The company reported $5.6 billion in revenues for 2024 and is headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut.
