Hub Group closes Marten Transport Intermodal acquisition

Hub Group Inc. (NASDAQ: HUBG) completed its acquisition of certain assets from Marten Transport Ltd. Intermodal on September 30, 2025, the company announced.

The transaction includes approximately 1,200 refrigerated containers and intermodal commercial relationships with food and beverage industry shippers. Hub Group stated the acquisition supports its investment strategy within its core business operations.

Hub Group also closed a separate acquisition on September 8, 2025, purchasing certain assets of West Coast final mile provider SITH, LLC. The company did not disclose financial terms for either transaction.

Marten Transport Ltd. trades on NASDAQ under the ticker MRTN. Hub Group, based in Oak Brook, Illinois, reported approximately $4 billion in revenue and employs nearly 6,000 people globally, according to the company statement.
