Hercules Capital adds Alfred Fichera to its board of directors

Hercules Capital, Inc. (NYSE: HTGC) appointed Alfred B. Fichera as an independent member of its board of directors, effective September 17, 2026, according to a press release from the company.



Fichera, an audit and accounting professional with more than 40 years of experience in financial services and asset management, will also serve on the company's Audit Committee.



Fichera worked at KPMG LLP from 1982 until his retirement in 2019, holding roles including Global Head of Alternative Investments, National Asset Management Leader, National Partner-in-Charge of Alternative Investments, and Audit Partner for nearly 25 years. Since 2021, he has worked as an expert witness for asset management organizations on matters including valuation, board governance, and SEC filings. Since September 2025, he has served as an independent director and chair of the audit committee of Warburg Pincus Access Fund, L.P.



Fichera holds a BS in Accounting from Merrimack College and is a licensed CPA (inactive) in New York and Massachusetts.



"As we continue to expand and scale our platform, Al's deep industry experience and financial expertise will be a valuable addition to our Board of Directors," said Scott Bluestein, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Hercules Capital.
