Hawkeye Systems rebrands as Hawkeye Digital, adds ThinkEquity
Hawkeye Systems, Inc. (OTC: HWKE) has changed its name to Hawkeye Digital, Inc. and relocated its headquarters to Miami Beach, Florida, according to a company press release. The company also adopted a new logo as part of the rebrand.
The company describes itself as a private equity and merchant banking platform focused on digital assets and advanced technology. Its private equity arm targets controlling investments in growth companies, while its merchant banking arm advises growth-stage and public companies on capital formation, public market preparation, exchange listings, and strategic transactions. Areas of focus include tokenization, wallets, stablecoins, blockchain-based financial infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
Hawkeye Digital said it is currently hiring merchant bankers to expand its advisory and capital markets team.
The company also announced that ThinkEquity LLC has become its financial advisor. According to the press release, ThinkEquity has served as underwriter or bookrunner for more than $10 billion in capital raises for the crypto sector, including work for Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BMNR).
Joe Jaigobind, CEO of ThinkEquity LLC, said in the release: "David Wachsman is one of the most connected and influential figures in the crypto and digital finance community. Marty Sumichrast has been a long-standing client of our firm with over 35 years of Wall Street experience."
David Wachsman, President of Hawkeye Digital, said the new name reflects the company's current direction and that Miami Beach positions the firm close to its target market.
