GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) announced an agreement with flydubai at the Dubai Airshow to deploy its Safety Insight and FlightPulse software solutions across the airline's entire fleet.

The software-as-a-service solutions are designed to enhance flight safety and operational efficiency through advanced analytics. Safety Insight identifies potential safety risks with indicators and metrics for rapid response, while FlightPulse provides pilots with real-time performance data for decision-making.

flydubai operates across more than 135 destinations in 57 countries. Khalid Al Humaidan, Senior Vice President of Compliance, Safety & Sustainability at flydubai, said the partnership enables the airline to "enhance safety, further improve operational performance and support our mission of providing safe, reliable and efficient air travel."

FlightPulse currently serves 60,000 pilots worldwide and has experienced a 156% increase in users since 2022, according to GE Aerospace. The application helps pilots analyze takeoffs, achieve stable approaches, and determine optimal landing distances.

Andrew Coleman, General Manager of Software as a Service for GE Aerospace, said the collaboration supports flydubai's "fuel and emissions reduction initiatives, in addition to improving key safety metrics."

GE Aerospace maintains operations in the UAE with more than 240 employees, offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Airport Freezone, an On Wing Support Center in Dubai South, and partnership facilities across the country. The company has operated in the UAE for more than 40 years.
