Freightos names Michael Netter as chief revenue officer

Freightos Limited (NASDAQ: CRGO) appointed Michael Netter as chief revenue officer, the digital freight booking platform announced. Netter will oversee global revenue strategy, sales operations and commercial execution.

Netter previously served as vice president of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Proemion, an IoT and Industry 4.0 software company. He also held positions as vice president of intermodal sales at project44 and chief revenue officer at Synfioo, where he managed multimodal visibility solutions.

"Michael's expertise in scaling digital logistics solutions across logistics service providers and BCOs makes him an ideal leader to drive the execution of Freightos' growth plans," said Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos.

Freightos operates a freight booking platform connecting airlines, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, importers and exporters. The company provides software solutions for pricing, quoting, booking, shipment management and payments across international freight operations.

The platform includes products such as Freightos Enterprise for multinational companies, Freightos Marketplace for smaller businesses, WebCargo for freight forwarders, WebCargo for Airlines, and Clearit digital customs services.

Freightos also provides industry data through Freightos Terminal, including the Freightos Air Index for air cargo and Freightos Baltic Index for container shipping. FBX futures trade on CME and SGX exchanges.
