Forward Industries changes NASDAQ ticker to FWDI from FORD

Forward Industries Inc. changed its ticker symbol from "FORD" to "FWDI" on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange, effective at the opening of trading on November 17, 2025.

The company said the ticker change reflects its strategic focus on its Solana treasury strategy, which involves acquiring SOL cryptocurrency and increasing SOL-per-share through active management and ecosystem participation.

Forward Industries has formed a Crypto Advisory Board comprising 25 members from the Solana ecosystem, digital assets, capital markets, and financial services sectors, according to the company's statement.

All trading activity, regulatory filings, and market-related information will be reported under the symbol "FWDI" as of November 17, 2025. Existing shareholders do not need to take any action regarding the ticker symbol change.

Forward Industries describes itself as a global design company serving medical and technology companies. The company initiated its Solana treasury strategy in September 2025, with support from investors including Galaxy Digital, Jump Crypto, and Multicoin Capital.
