September 28, 2026 5:00 PM EDT

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) announced plans to transfer its robotics assets to Nasdaq-listed AIxC (NASDAQ: AIXC) at a valuation of approximately $200 million, according to a press release from the company. Both companies' boards have approved a non-binding term sheet for the proposed transaction.

AIxC plans to rename itself FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc. and change its ticker to FFR, effective September 30. Upon completion of the transaction, FFAI is expected to become FFR's single largest controlling stockholder. AIxC's pre-transaction valuation is approximately $55 million, and the company plans to discontinue its existing crypto strategy.

FFAI also announced it intends to shift its automotive business from electric vehicle manufacturing toward robotaxi shared-mobility operations and EAI cabin technology licensing, including potential connectivity with the Cybercab network.

As of the end of August, FFAI's robotics business reported cumulative device sales and shipments of 552 units and cumulative revenue of approximately $1.52 million. The company's second-quarter average robotics product gross margin exceeded 30%.

Management projections, which are preliminary and subject to change, estimate the robotics business will generate $7.1 million in revenue in 2026 and $45.17 million in 2027, with cumulative revenue of approximately $1.98 billion through 2030. The business is projected to reach positive operating cash flow in the third quarter of 2028.

FFAI said it plans to adopt a holding-company operating model it describes as inspired by Berkshire Hathaway and Alphabet, with additional strategic announcements expected in the near term.

The proposed transaction remains subject to definitive agreements, special committee and regulatory approvals. An 18-month lock-up arrangement for shares of the robotics business is expected to be included in the final terms.
