ESGL Holdings changes name to OIO Group, ticker symbol to OIO

ESGL Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: ESGL) announced its corporate name change to OIO Group and ticker symbol change to "OIO," effective March 10, 2026, according to a company statement.

The Singapore-based company said shareholders approved the changes at an Extraordinary General Meeting. The company's share capital structure, shareholder rights, and trading mechanics remain unchanged.

OIO Group stated the rebrand reflects its strategic shift toward building a portfolio of operating businesses with long-term growth potential, expanding beyond its current operations through subsidiary Environmental Solutions (Asia) Pte. Ltd.

The company is progressing through a proposed business combination with De Tomaso Automobili Holdings Limited, which it described as part of its broader strategic direction. The transaction remains subject to closing conditions and approvals.

OIO Group said it plans to evaluate additional strategic opportunities that align with its vision of building distinctive operating businesses while maintaining disciplined capital allocation.

The company's ordinary shares and warrants will continue trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under ticker symbols "OIO" and "OIOWW" respectively, without interruption.
