Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) announced enhancements to its Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA platform, introducing new storage integrations, server configurations and automation tools for enterprise artificial intelligence deployments.
The company's ObjectScale and PowerScale storage systems now integrate with NVIDIA's NIXL library, part of NVIDIA Dynamo, enabling what Dell claims is a 1-second Time to First Token performance at 131,000 tokens. The integration aims to address GPU memory capacity limitations while reducing infrastructure costs.
Dell introduced the PowerEdge XE8712 server, scheduled for availability in December, which supports up to 144 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs per rack. The company also expanded its AI Factory offerings to include PowerEdge XE7740 and XE7745 servers featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition and NVIDIA Hopper GPUs.
The Dell Automation Platform expansion includes automated deployment capabilities for AI workloads and software-driven tools with partners Tabnine and Cohere North. Dell Professional Services will offer pilot programs using customer data to validate business applications before scaled investments.
Networking updates include Enterprise SONiC Distribution support for NVIDIA Spectrum-X platforms, with availability planned for the first half of 2026. SmartFabric Manager will extend support to Dell's Enterprise SONiC on NVIDIA Spectrum-X platforms during the same timeframe.
Red Hat OpenShift validation expanded to additional Dell PowerEdge systems, including the PowerEdge XE9680 with NVIDIA H100 and H200 Tensor Core GPUs. Dell's AI PC ecosystem now supports NVIDIA RTX Blackwell and RTX Ada GPUs across a broader range of devices.
"The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA solves the problem every enterprise is facing: how to move from AI pilots to production without rebuilding their infrastructure," said Jeff Clarke, Dell's vice chairman and chief operating officer.
Most announced features are available globally, according to the company's press release statement.
