DeFi Technologies' Valour gets Brazil approval for Solana ETP
DeFi Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: DEFT) announced that its subsidiary Valour received approval from Brazil's B3 exchange to list the Valour Solana (VSOL) exchange-traded product.
VSOL is scheduled to begin trading on B3 on December 17, 2025, alongside four other Valour digital asset ETPs: Valour Bitcoin (BTCV), Valour Ethereum (ETHV), Valour XRP (XRPV), and Valour SUI (VSUI). The products will provide Brazilian investors with locally listed, BRL-denominated exposure to digital assets through existing brokerage and custody systems.
The approval expands Valour's Brazilian digital asset ETP lineup beyond Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Sui. Brazil represents Valour's first major market outside Europe, where the company currently offers approximately 100 digital asset ETPs across exchanges including Spotlight Stock Market, Börse Frankfurt, SIX Swiss Exchange, London Stock Exchange, and Euronext.
"Solana has become one of the most active Layer 1 ecosystems in the world, and we are pleased to make regulated, exchange-traded exposure to SOL available to Brazilian investors through the B3 Exchange," said Johan Wattenström, Chief Executive Officer of DeFi Technologies and Co-Founder of Valour.
B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão is Brazil's stock exchange and operates trading, clearing, settlement, registration and depository services across equities, derivatives and over-the-counter markets. The company is headquartered in São Paulo and listed under ticker B3SA3.
DeFi Technologies describes itself as a financial technology company bridging traditional capital markets and decentralized finance. The company's business model includes Valour's ETP offerings, Stillman Digital for digital asset prime brokerage, and other subsidiaries focused on digital asset services.
