DNOW names leadership team for MRC Global merger

DNOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW) announced the leadership structure for its combined company following the pending merger with MRC Global Inc. (NYSE: MRC), according to a company statement.

David Cherechinsky will continue as president and chief executive officer of the merged entity, while Mark Johnson will serve as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Kelly Youngblood, currently MRC Global's chief financial officer, will take the role of executive advisor to the CEO.

The leadership team will include executives from both companies across various operational areas. Clent Rawlinson from DNOW will oversee North America sales and operations, while Jack McCarthy from MRC Global will lead U.S. sales and operations focused on gas utilities and downstream sectors. Steve Smith from MRC Global will manage international sales and operations.

Additional appointments include Raymond Chang as vice president and general counsel, Kelly Munson as chief administrative and information officer, and Timm Bohnert as vice president of supply chain. Brad Wise will serve as vice president of digital strategy and investor relations, and Gillian Anderson from MRC Global will become vice president and chief accounting officer.

The companies agreed to the all-stock transaction on June 26, 2025, with an approximate value of $1.5 billion. The merger has received shareholder approval from both companies and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, pending regulatory clearances and other closing conditions.

DNOW operates as a supplier of energy and industrial products with approximately 2,500 employees and locations across multiple markets including exploration, production, and renewable energy sectors.
