Currenc Capital to tokenize Mint's Nasdaq shares on Ethereum, Solana

CURRENC Capital Inc., a subsidiary of Currenc Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CURR), announced an agreement with Mint Incorporation Limited (NASDAQ: MIMI) to support the tokenization of a portion of Mint's Nasdaq-listed Class A ordinary shares on the Ethereum and Solana blockchains.

Under the agreement, CURRENC Capital will provide advisory and facilitation services for the issuer-sponsored tokenization. The process is described as preserving the rights of the underlying security while moving share ownership records onto blockchain infrastructure.

Mint is a Hong Kong-based company focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, and interior design. Its subsidiaries include Axonex AI Limited, which provides smart facility management solutions, and Rice Robotics AGI Holding Limited, which develops customer-centric and companion robots.

Currenc Group states it became one of the first Nasdaq-listed companies to tokenize its ordinary shares in April 2026, when it brought its equity onchain on the same two blockchains.

"Tokenization allows a listed company to modernize how its shares are owned and accessed — without changing a single right of the underlying security," said Alex Kong, Founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Currenc.

"Tokenizing a portion of our Nasdaq-listed shares is a natural extension of that mindset, and we are bringing the same digital-first rigor to how our equity is owned, accessed, and administered," said Damian Chan, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Mint.

The announcement did not disclose the specific percentage of Mint's shares to be tokenized, a timeline for completion, or financial terms of the agreement. The press release notes that no established trading market for the tokenized shares currently exists and that none may develop.
