Concrete Pumping subsidiary acquires Irish concrete pumping company

Concrete Pumping Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BBCP) announced that its subsidiary Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping Inc. has completed the acquisition of C.G.A. Concrete Pumping Ltd., a concrete pumping services company based in Cork, Republic of Ireland.
The acquisition represents Brundage-Bone's expansion into international markets. CGA operates in Southern Ireland's regional markets, according to the company's statement.
"The CGA transaction is another successful example of our M&A strategy at a valuation consistent with our proven acquisition criteria," said Bruce Young, CEO of Concrete Pumping Holdings.
Brendan and Catheriona Sweeney will continue to lead CGA following the acquisition. Brendan Sweeney stated that joining with Brundage-Bone will enable the company to "accelerate our growth, expand our service offerings, and continue delivering exceptional value to our customers."
Concrete Pumping Holdings operates concrete pumping services in the U.S. from approximately 95 branch locations across 23 states and in the U.K. from approximately 35 branch locations. The company also provides concrete waste management services from 23 operating locations in the U.S. and one location in the U.K.
The company operates under the Brundage-Bone brand for concrete pumping in the U.S., Camfaud in the U.K., and Eco-Pan for waste management services in both countries. Financial terms of the CGA acquisition were not disclosed.
