Compugen appoints Michele Holcomb to board of directors

Compugen Ltd. (NASDAQ: CGEN) (TASE: CGEN) appointed Michele Holcomb as an independent director to its board of directors, effective February 11, 2026, according to a company statement.



Holcomb brings more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience across biotech, pharmaceuticals and healthcare services sectors. She previously served as executive vice president and chief strategy and business development officer at Cardinal Health, where she defined strategies, optimized portfolios and identified growth opportunities while leading execution of investments, acquisitions and partnerships.



Prior to Cardinal Health, Holcomb held positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals as chief operating officer of global research and development and senior vice president of strategy, portfolio, search and partnerships. She spent 15 years at McKinsey & Company as a partner in the global pharmaceutical practice and was among the founders of the firm's biotech work.



Holcomb currently serves on the boards of PureTech Health plc, where she sits on the audit and transaction committees, and Kimball Electronics Inc., where she chairs the nominating and ESG committee. She also serves as a board director for private company Controlant hf.



She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Stanford University and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Holcomb previously worked as a research and development chemist at Ciba-Geigy and Syntex Pharmaceuticals.



Compugen is a clinical-stage cancer immunotherapy company that uses computational drug target discovery powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. The company has clinical programs including COM902, an anti-TIGIT antibody in phase 1 development, and partnerships with AstraZeneca and Gilead Sciences.
