CVR Partners, LP (NYSE: UAN) announced preliminary capital expenditure estimates of $60 million to $75 million for 2026, according to a company statement.
The spending plan allocates $35 million to $45 million for maintenance capital and $25 million to $30 million for growth capital projects.
Growth capital investments will target margin-improvement and debottlenecking projects at both manufacturing facilities, designed to enhance reliability and production rates. The company plans to invest in an ammonia expansion and feedstock diversification project at its Coffeyville facility, water quality upgrades at both plants, and expansion of diesel exhaust fluid production and loadout capacity.
"The goal of these projects is to support our target of operating the plants at utilization rates above 95 percent of nameplate capacity, excluding the impact of turnarounds," said Mark Pytosh, Chief Executive Officer.
CVR Partners operates nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing facilities in Coffeyville, Kansas, and East Dubuque, Illinois. The Coffeyville facility includes a 1,300 ton-per-day ammonia unit and 3,100 ton-per-day urea ammonium nitrate unit. The East Dubuque facility has a 1,075 ton-per-day ammonia unit and 950 ton-per-day UAN unit.
The company produces urea ammonium nitrate and ammonia, which are used by farmers to improve crop yield and quality.
