CB&I's Asset Solutions business has been awarded a three-year operations and maintenance contract offshore Côte d'Ivoire, according to a press release issued Aug. 24, 2026.

The contract, valued between $50 million and $100 million, covers the safe operation, maintenance, integrity management, and regulatory compliance of a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. The client was not identified, in accordance with the customer's standard communications policy.

CB&I will assume responsibility following a structured transition from the incumbent service provider. Its scope includes safe restart and stabilization of operations, life-of-field asset integrity and reliability, and class certification.

Sandy Merson, Senior Vice President of Asset Operations for CB&I Asset Solutions, said the company has been "accelerating our presence across Africa," citing a 20-year presence in the region and commitments to local supply chain development and workforce growth.

CB&I Asset Solutions was formerly part of Petrofac (OTC Pink: POFCF). CB&I is owned by a consortium of financial investors led by Mason Capital Management LLC.
